Where to start with a business plan

What do you want to achieve and is it possible?  How soon do you want to get there?  Can you afford to do it?  How will you involve others, get their buy in?  How will you know if it's working?  

 

Be honest about the business, identify the areas of strength and weakness, opportunities for investment and improvement, things that are or could be a potential threat. 

 

Create a rolling plan for the future, a strategy to tackle these areas.   You need to be able to set targets against them all, measure progress and forecast how the business plan is performing against them.
